“I was initially apprehensive about working with a Personal Trainer due to my injury that left me with limited mobility of my right knee and ongoing pain. I had compound fractures that have now had three operations and have been plated and pinned. I had eight months rehab with a physio who advised me recently that I would not be able to cross country ride horses or run ever again which is what I love to do best. I attend Marks “Stretch & Recovery/Yoga” workshop on a Thursday lunchtime and have to say I’ve been blown away by how transformational this class is and how knowledgeable, understanding and professional Mark is. I always arrive flustered and with aches and pains and leave truly relaxed and my muscles feel ready to work again. I cannot recommend Mark or is Class highly enough.

“I began training with Mark Searley in 2005. I had not really been a member of a gym before and hadn't trained before so it was all new to me. We decided to do the 12 week 'Core Program' this was 2 x 45 min sessions per week. My weight at the beginning was 65kg and 33 % body fat. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to 2 or 3 of Mark's Body Balance classes every week also which was the perfect complement to my training programme. At the end of the 12 weeks my weight was 55kg and body fat was 22 %
I continued to train with Mark as the training sessions had become an integral part of my week. The biggest changes were in my self-confidence and self-esteem. Mark gets such good results because he is a very good motivator, he makes training fun and interesting and helps to set achievable goals. He has been hugely influential in my life. I have since learnt how to swim and am hoping to participate in my first Triathlon later on in the year. I am Gui. I am 23 years old. I was introduced to Mark when I was 21. My main goal in going to the Gym was to increase my lean muscle mass. Since I met Mark, I have put on 17kg in muscle and reduced my body fat to 11%. As a result I feel so much happier and have gained lots more confidence. Mark is very knowledgeable in what he does. He explains and demonstrates correct breathing, tempo and any corrective technique to me when my technique goes wrong. He is very patient. He always makes sure I understand him because English is not my first language. Mark really cares about his clients. He makes sure that I am always eating well and capable enough to do exercises while he is not with me at the Gym. Mark is honest when I am not eating enough food (essential to keep a high metabolism and gain lean muscle mass). Through-out the last 2 years, we've had fun and a lot of laughs when we worked together. Mark is my inspiration. He has changed my attitude and life perspectives about general health and exercise.
